# Gugugaga Video Generator

> A Gugugaga video is a short clip of a chubby chibi penguin doing everyday things — drinking milk, waddling, pouting — over looping baby-talk “gugu gaga” audio, a meme that started on Bilibili in February 2026. To make your own on Kenerate AI, create an original penguin picture with Seedream 5.0 Pro, then animate it with Wan 3.0 (2–30 s, 9:16, sound on) or Seedance 2.0. The four penguin frames below are real outputs from one prompt template.

## In depth

### Why the Gugu Gaga penguin went viral
The format is simple: a round, fluffy penguin does something small and helpless, and a looping “gugu gaga” babble plays over it. Know Your Meme dates it to Bilibili in February 2026, built on fans of Arknights: Endfield joking that the game's avatar looked like a penguin. From Douyin it reached TikTok and X within weeks, and spin-offs followed — mods, Roblox games and merch.
You don't need the game character to join in. The joke is the penguin's cuteness and the sound, so an original penguin of your own works just as well — and it's yours to post.

### Motion prompts to try
Untested starting points for the video studio — attach a penguin frame, keep sound on, 9:16, 5–8 seconds:
- Milk time: the penguin tips the bottle up and sips, then lowers it and pouts at the camera, babbling “gugu gaga”. Static camera.
- Butterfly chase: the penguin waddles after the butterfly, trips softly onto its belly, then sits up surprised. Camera follows at its height.
- Bakery: the penguin holds up the cupcake, bounces on the stool and says “gugu gaga”, then takes a tiny bite.
- Burger hug: the penguin squeezes the burger, rocks side to side happily, cheeks puffing. Slow push-in.
- Poke reaction: a finger pokes the penguin's cheek; it puffs up, turns away and babbles “gaga”.

### What we made
Four start frames, one try each, on Seedream 5.0 Pro, from one character description:
- Same penguin every time: grey fluff, white belly, blue knitted beanie and big glossy eyes carried across all four.
- Small extras the model added on its own: a tear on the milk frame and a heart shape on the belly in the park frame.
- Our first attempts were refused because the prompts said “baby penguin” — “penguin chick” went through.

## FAQ
Q: What is Gugugaga?
A: Gugugaga (or Gugu Gaga) is a meme of short videos showing a chubby chibi penguin doing childlike things — drinking milk, waddling, chasing butterflies, pouting — over looping baby-talk “gugu gaga” audio. Know Your Meme traces it to Bilibili in February 2026, from where it spread to Douyin, TikTok and X.

Q: Where does the Gugu Gaga penguin come from?
A: The best-known penguin is a fan-made chibi take on the player avatar of the game Arknights: Endfield (released 22 January 2026), whose black-and-white coat players called “penguin-coded”. The canonical image was posted on Bilibili on 19 February 2026. The “gugu gaga” sound is traced to Takamatsu Tomori from the anime BanG Dream! It's MyGO!!!!!.

Q: How do I make a Gugugaga video?
A: Make a start frame of an original penguin in Kenerate's Image Studio (we used Seedream 5.0 Pro at 9:16), then open it in the video studio with Wan 3.0 or Seedance 2.0 and describe one action plus the line in quotes: the penguin babbles “gugu gaga”. Keep sound on and draft 5 seconds at 480p first.

Q: Can I use the original Gugu Gaga penguin image?
A: Safer not to. The penguin is fan art of a game character, and its creator briefly tried to claim copyright in March 2026 before withdrawing. Make your own penguin — a different colour, hat or outfit — so the character is yours to post and reuse.

Q: Does the video have the “gugu gaga” sound?
A: Wan 3.0 and Seedance 2.0 make native sound when audio is on, and you can ask for a spoken line by putting it in quotes. We haven't rendered a Gugugaga clip for this page, so treat the motion prompts as starting points and regenerate if the babble isn't right.

Q: Is the Gugugaga video generator free?
A: Free to start: a new account gets starter credits, enough for a penguin frame on Seedream 5.0 Pro. Video needs a paid plan or a one-time credit pack — Wan 3.0 is 15 credits a second at 480p, so a 5-second draft is 75 credits. Credits never expire and there's no watermark.

Q: What size should a Gugugaga clip be?
A: Vertical 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, around 5–8 seconds so it loops. Wan 3.0 and Seedance 2.0 both do 9:16; Wan 3.0 runs from 2 to 30 seconds, Seedance 2.0 from 4 to 15.

Q: How do I keep the same penguin in every video?
A: Reuse the exact same character description for each start frame — our four frames kept the same grey fluff, blue beanie and face from one template. For even tighter matches, add an earlier frame as a reference image.
