# Samba Music Generator

> Samba is Brazil's best-known music and dance style, rooted in Afro-Brazilian traditions and centred in Rio de Janeiro. It rides a syncopated 2/4 groove: the deep surdo drum anchors beat two, over tamborim, repinique, pandeiro, cuíca and the small cavaquinho guitar. Batucada is the all-percussion carnival style; bossa nova (late 1950s) blended samba rhythm with jazz harmony. In Kenerate's Music Studio, describe the style, instruments and scene and get original samba in about a minute — instrumental or sung in Portuguese. New accounts get 25 free credits.
