# Soundful Alternative

> Soundful makes royalty-free instrumental music from genre and mood templates, using its own AI that it says isn't trained on copyrighted music. It doesn't sing — its song-generator page suggests adding vocals yourself. Soundful's free plan offers unlimited generations with 1 MP3 download a month, a personal licence and credit to Soundful; paid plans start at $9.99/month ($4.99/month billed annually). Soundful owns the master licence, and releasing on Spotify or Apple Music requires buying the copyright (from $50 per track) (soundful.com, September 2026). Kenerate's Music Studio is an alternative that makes background music and songs with vocals on Ken Music, ElevenLabs Music, Mureka and MiniMax. New accounts get 25 free credits.
