# Suno Alternative

> The best Suno alternative depends on what you miss. If it's choice of sound, Kenerate's Music Studio runs four engine families — Ken Music, ElevenLabs Music (exact length up to 10 minutes), Mureka and MiniMax Music — on the same prompt. If it's downloads: Suno's free plan has no monthly downloads and its paid plans cap them (20 a month on Pro, 60 on Premier, per suno.com/pricing, Sep 2026), while every song you make on Kenerate downloads as an MP3. You start with 25 free credits, and credit packs never expire.

## In depth

### Why people are looking for Suno alternatives
Suno signed licensing deals with Warner Music Group in November 2025 and BMG in August 2026, and announced that downloads would move to paid accounts [1][2]. By September 2026 its pricing page listed no monthly downloads on the free plan and monthly caps on paid plans [3]. People who liked the free plan, or who download a lot, are comparing options.

### Choosing an alternative: the checklist
What to compare, in order of how often it matters:
- Downloads — can you download what you make, and how many?
- Pricing model — subscription, or credits you keep?
- Engines — one model, or a choice per song?
- Lyrics control — can you paste exact lyrics with section tags?
- Length — exact duration for video work, and a way to extend.
