Is Qwen Image Edit censored? Partly. On Kenerate, Qwen Image 3.0 and 2.0 (text-to-image and edit) run through Alibaba's API, whose own filter may refuse explicit prompts — so they're not a reliable NSFW model. Kenerate's own filter blocks only content involving minors. The original Qwen-Image was released as open weights under Apache 2.0, which is why you see community "uncensored" versions elsewhere. For adult art as an adult (18+), use models built for it — Chroma (tagged Uncensored) — and keep Qwen for text, posters and edits (free plan, 1K or 2K).

A model's weights and the service that runs it are different things. The open Qwen-Image weights can be run without a filter on your own hardware; a hosted API adds the provider's moderation. On Kenerate, Qwen 3.0 and 2.0 go through Alibaba's API.
