Quick answer
How do you make an AI Santa video?
An AI Santa video generator makes a short video of Santa Claus who moves, talks and says what you wrote. On Kenerate AI there are two ways: a short clip in Video Studio, where Seedance 2.0 animates a Santa image and speaks one line you put in quotes (4–15 s, 36 credits a second at 480p), or a talking Santa message, where you voice your script in Voice Studio and Kenerate Avatar lip-syncs it, up to 10 minutes — about 252 credits for 30 seconds at 720p. You write every word; nothing is looked up about your family, and children's photos aren't needed or wanted.

Step 1
Make your Santa
In Image Studio, describe him: white beard, red suit, a fireplace or the workshop behind him, looking straight at the camera with his mouth clearly visible. Pick the ratio you'll send it in: 9:16 for phones, 16:9 for a TV.
Step 2
Write his script
20–40 seconds is about 300–500 characters. Use the name and one real detail (a kind thing they did, a wish). Leave ages and words like “kids” out — the content filter blocks them.
Step 3
Give Santa a voice
In Voice Studio pick a deep, warm voice. ElevenLabs Eleven v3 reads tags such as [laughs] and [whispers]; MiniMax Speech has Santa Claus voices in Spanish and Portuguese.
Step 4
Make him talk
Open Avatar Talk, choose Kenerate Avatar, add the Santa image and the voice track, and render at 720p. 30 seconds costs 225 credits.

Video Studio needs a paid plan. Voice Studio and Avatar Talk bill credits per character and per second.
Tips
Santa videos that feel like Santa
What makes the message land, and what keeps it from being blocked or looking off.
Start from a front-facing Santa with the mouth visible above the beard — the lip-sync needs it.
One name, one specific detail, one wish. Specific beats long.
Write numbers and names the way they're said, and play the voice track before you make the video.
Keep ages, “kids”, “child” and similar words out of every prompt and script; write “you” and the name instead.
Make Santa a fictional character — don't use a photo of a real person unless it's an adult who agreed.
Render a short test first: a 5-second Seedance 2.0 clip at 480p is 180 credits, a 10-second Avatar Talk test 75.
FAQ
AI Santa Video Generator questions
10 questions
How do I make an AI Santa video?
Make a Santa image in Image Studio, then pick one of two routes. For a short clip, open Video Studio, choose Seedance 2.0, add the image as the start frame and write the motion with one line in quotes — 4 to 15 seconds. For a longer message, voice your script in Voice Studio, then add the image and the voice track in Avatar Talk with Kenerate Avatar, which lip-syncs up to 10 minutes.
Link to this answerCan I make a personalised Santa video with my child's name?
Yes — you type the name into the script and Santa says it. Kenerate doesn't fill anything in for you and asks for no details about your family. One thing to know: prompts and scripts that mention children, kids or an age under 18 are blocked by the content filter, so write “Merry Christmas, Maya — you've been so kind this year”, not “Maya, you're six”.
Link to this answerIs the AI Santa video generator free?
No. Video Studio needs a paid plan, and a talking Santa costs more than the 25 starter credits a new account gets: 30 seconds is about 252 credits. Plans are one-time packs with no subscription, from $15 for 1,300 credits. You can still make and test your Santa image for free with Qwen Image 3.0, a free-plan model, before you buy.
Link to this answerHow long can a Santa video be?
Up to 15 seconds for a Seedance 2.0 clip, up to 30 seconds for Wan 3.0, and up to 10 minutes of speech for a talking message with Kenerate Avatar. Most Santa messages work best at 20–40 seconds: long enough for a name, one detail and a wish.
Link to this answerHow much does a Santa video cost?
An 8-second Seedance 2.0 clip is 288 credits at 480p or 576 at 720p. Wan 3.0 is 15 credits a second at 480p. A 30-second talking message is about 252 credits: roughly 27 for 450 characters of ElevenLabs Eleven v3 speech and 225 for the Kenerate Avatar video at 720p. The studio shows the exact price before you generate.
Link to this answerCan Santa speak Spanish or other languages?
Yes. ElevenLabs Eleven v3 reads 70 languages, and MiniMax Speech's voice list includes Santa Claus voices in Spanish and Portuguese. Write the script in the language you want, play the voice track, then make the video with it.
Link to this answerCan I put my kids in the video with Santa?
No. The video is of Santa, not of your family — don't upload photos of children. Kenerate's filter blocks prompts about children, and under US privacy law (COPPA) a photo, video or audio file containing a child's image or voice counts as their personal information. Make the Santa video and send it to them instead.
Link to this answerCan I use a photo of a real person as Santa?
Only an adult who has agreed — for example yourself in a Santa suit. Don't use photos of celebrities or anyone who hasn't said yes. The simplest, safest Santa is a fictional one you describe in Image Studio.
Link to this answerWhich format should I use?
9:16 vertical for phones, WhatsApp and Reels, 16:9 for a TV or a laptop, 1:1 for a square post. Make the Santa image in that ratio first so the video keeps the same frame. Seedance 2.0 also offers 4:3, 3:4 and 21:9.
Link to this answerCan I add Christmas music?
Seedance 2.0, Wan 3.0 and Veo 3.1 Fast can make their own sound — sleigh bells, a crackling fire, Santa's line. For a full song, make one with the AI Christmas song generator and lay it under the video in any video editor.

AI Santa Video Generator, explained
On this page
What is an AI Santa video?
It's a short video of Santa Claus made by AI instead of a filmed actor. Two kinds get searched for. A Santa clip is a few seconds of Santa moving and talking — waving by the fire, reading the list, flying over the village — that a video model makes from a prompt. A Santa video message is longer and personal: Santa reads a script written for one person, and a talking-avatar model moves his lips to the voice.
On Kenerate both start the same way: a Santa image you make in Image Studio. Image-to-video keeps the same Santa from frame to frame, and the same image is the photo the talking avatar animates.
Short clip or talking message?
Pick by what Santa has to say:
- One line — “Merry Christmas, Maya!” — fits a Seedance 2.0 clip: 4–15 seconds, sound made with the video, 36 credits a second at 480p.
- A real message — a name, a detail, a wish, 20–40 seconds — fits Voice Studio plus Avatar Talk: you hear the voice before you pay for the video, and the lips follow it.
- Scenery without dialogue — the sleigh, the workshop, snow — fits Wan 3.0 at 15 credits a second, up to 30 seconds.
- A card to print or send — use the AI Christmas card generator; a still image costs a few credits.
Personalised, but without your family's data
Some Santa services ask for your child's name, age, photo and details and build the video for you. Kenerate doesn't: it's a studio, and you write the script yourself. That means nothing about your family needs to leave your head beyond a first name and whatever detail you choose to type.
Don't upload your children's photos to make them appear with Santa. Kenerate's content filter blocks prompts about children, and the US Federal Trade Commission's COPPA guidance treats a photo, video or audio file containing a child's image or voice as that child's personal information. A Santa video doesn't need any of it — Santa is the one on screen.
What other AI Santa video tools offer
From each vendor's own page, read on 21 October 2026 [1][2]:
- Synthesia's Santa post: type a script of up to 250 characters, pick one of three Santa avatars, download or share.
- ElevenLabs' Santa lip-sync page: upload or generate a Santa image, type a greeting, pick a voice; its FAQ says a paid plan is required.
- Kenerate: no script cap beyond the voice engine's (5,000 characters on Eleven v3), up to 10 minutes of talking video, any Santa you can describe, and a credit price shown before every render.
Writing a Santa script that works
ElevenLabs' own guide says very short prompts give uneven delivery and suggests testing scripts over 250 characters — which matches a good Santa message anyway:
- Open with “Ho ho ho!” and the name.
- One true, specific detail: a kind thing, a new skill, a pet.
- One playful line: the elves, Rudolph, the cookies.
- One wish or gentle hint about Christmas Eve.
- Sign off from the North Pole. Add [laughs] or [whispers] where you'd hear them.
1. The Santa image (Image Studio)
Photoreal portrait of Santa Claus, a jolly older man with a full white beard and round glasses, red velvet suit with white fur trim, sitting in a wooden armchair by a crackling fireplace in a cosy workshop, warm lamp light, looking straight at the camera, mouth clearly visible, 9:16, no text.
2. Santa says one line (Seedance 2.0)
Santa leans toward the camera, smiles and waves, then says warmly: "Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas, Maya — I hear you've been wonderfully kind this year." The fire crackles softly, gentle sleigh bells in the background. Slow push-in, steady camera.
3. Checking the nice list (Seedance 2.0)
Santa unrolls a long paper scroll, runs his finger down it, stops, looks up at the camera and says: "Ah, there you are — right at the top of the nice list!" then laughs. Warm firelight, steady camera.
4. Sleigh over the village (Wan 3.0)
Santa's sleigh pulled by eight reindeer flies over a snowy village at night under a full moon, warm windows glowing below, light snow falling, wide cinematic shot slowly tracking the sleigh, sleigh bells and wind.
5. A 25-second message script (Voice Studio, Eleven v3)
Ho ho ho! Hello, Maya. [laughs] The elves told me how you helped look after the neighbour's cat this autumn, and that made me very proud. [whispers] Here's a little secret: Rudolph has been practising extra hard this year. Keep being kind, get some sleep on Christmas Eve, and I'll see what I can do about that red bicycle. Merry Christmas from the North Pole!
