A real window is colored glass cut into pieces and joined by strips of lead called came. That construction is what the model has to imitate: separate panes, each one color with streaky variation, dark lines between every piece, and light coming through from behind.
So the prompt describes construction, not just subject: “a kingfisher over a pond” gets you a painting; “a kingfisher over a pond as a stained glass panel, thick dark lead lines between every piece, translucent backlit glass” gets you a window.
