Quick answer
How do you turn yourself into a princess with AI?
An AI princess generator paints a person as a princess — tiara, gown, palace and all — either from your own photo or from a text description. On Kenerate AI you upload a selfie, describe the gown, crown and setting, and GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst redraws you while keeping your face. Our two photo tests kept both faces recognisable; a princess edit costs 11.7 credits, a princess from text 7.2, and a new account starts with 25 free credits.

Same prompt
The photo, then the princess
Two test photos in, two princess portraits out. Faces and smiles carried over; the gown, crown, hair styling and palace came from the prompt.
PromptTurn this woman into a winter ice princess portrait. Keep her face recognisable — same face shape, eyes, nose, smile and hair colour — with her hair in a long side braid dusted with frost. She wears a high-necked long-sleeved icy silver-white gown with crystal beading and a sheer snowflake-patterned cape, and a slim crown of clear ice crystals. Chest-up portrait, front three-quarter view, a frozen palace hall of pale blue ice pillars behind her with drifting snowflakes. Painterly fantasy illustration, cool soft light. No text.

Prompts that make a princess portrait look like you
What worked in our tests.
Start with “Turn this woman into a … princess portrait” and attach one clear, front-facing photo. A close-up beats a full-length shot.
Name what to keep: “same face shape, eyes, smile and hair colour”. Then say how to style the hair: soft curls, a side braid, a crown braid.
Describe the gown in pieces: neckline, colour, fabric, embroidery, gloves or cape.
Pick one crown and say what it's made of: gold and pearls, ice crystals, silver leaves.
Set the palace and the light: candlelit ballroom, frozen hall, moonlit balcony, cliffside castle at sunset.
Name the finish — “painterly storybook illustration”, “visible brush strokes”, “3D animated-film style”. Without it the result can look like a costume photo.
Describe your own princess instead of naming a film character; it's your design and it sidesteps trademarked looks.

FAQ
AI Princess Generator questions
8 questions
How do I turn myself into a princess with AI?
Upload a clear photo in Kenerate's Image Studio, pick GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst and write: “Turn this woman into a fairytale princess portrait, keep her face recognisable, gold tiara with pearls, pale blue silk ball gown, candlelit palace ballroom, painterly storybook illustration.” Our test photo came back as a ball-gown princess with the same smile on the first try.
Link to this answerIs the AI princess generator free?
Free to start. A new Kenerate account gets 25 credits on sign-up — two princess portraits from a photo at 11.7 credits each, or three from text at 7.2 — and Qwen Image 3.0 is on the free plan. After that, credits come in one-time packs that never expire, with no subscription. Downloads have no watermark.
Link to this answerCan I make a princess without a photo?
Yes. Leave the reference empty and describe her: age, hair, crown, gown, setting and style. Our warrior princess and elven princess were made from text only, at 7.2 credits each.
Link to this answerWill the princess still look like me?
In our two photo tests, yes — the ice princess kept the face and smile almost exactly. Use a close, well-lit photo: our ball-gown test started from a full-length beach shot with a small face, so the likeness was close rather than exact and the hair came back longer and curlier.
Link to this answerWhat kinds of princess can I make?
Anything you can describe: fairytale ball gown, ice or winter princess, elven princess, warrior princess in armour, desert or sea princess, steampunk, gothic, or a modern princess at a gala. Name the gown, the crown and the setting — those three make the role read at a glance.
Link to this answerCan I make a Disney princess version of myself?
You can ask for an animated-film look — “3D animated-film style, big expressive eyes, soft lighting” — but describe your own princess rather than naming a Disney character. Film characters and costumes are trademarked, and an original design is yours to post and print.
Link to this answerCan I turn a princess portrait into a video?
Yes. Use the portrait as the start frame in Kenerate's image-to-video studio and describe the motion — her gown swaying as she turns, snow drifting, chandelier light flickering. Video needs a paid plan and is priced per second.
Link to this answerCan I upload a photo of my child or someone else?
No photos of children: the princess generator is for adults — yourself, or adults who agreed. Don't upload celebrities or other real people without consent. For a children's party, make a princess colouring page from text instead.

AI Princess Generator, explained
What works, what to avoid, and how to pick a model.
On this page
Photo to princess vs text to princess
From a photo, the model keeps your face and repaints everything else — hair styling, crown, gown, palace — so the portrait is recognisably you. From text, there is no face to keep, so you describe the whole princess and the model invents her.
Most princess generators are one-tap filters with a few preset looks. Writing the prompt yourself means any gown, any crown and any setting, and every example on this page shows the prompt behind it.
A princess prompt, piece by piece
Every prompt on this page follows the same order:
- Who: “Turn this woman into a … princess portrait” with the photo attached.
- Keep: “same face shape, eyes, smile and hair colour”, then the hair styling you want.
- Crown: “a delicate gold tiara set with small pearls” or “a slim crown of clear ice crystals”.
- Gown: neckline, colour, fabric and detail — “off-the-shoulder pale blue silk, gold embroidery, long satin gloves”.
- Scene, light and style: “candlelit palace ballroom, warm soft light, painterly storybook illustration”.
Princess styles to try
Swap the gown, crown and setting and the same face becomes a different princess:
- Fairytale: pastel ball gown, pearl tiara, palace ballroom with chandeliers.
- Ice: beaded silver-white gown, crown of ice crystals, frozen hall with drifting snow.
- Elven: leaf-embroidered green and gold gown, circlet of silver leaves, moonlit tree palace.
- Warrior: ornate armour over a gown, a gold circlet, a sword, a castle on a cliff at sunset.
- Sea: pearl-and-shell crown, flowing teal gown, a coral palace or a ship's deck.
- Gothic: black velvet gown, dark jewelled crown, candlelit stone hall.
What we got
Four princesses, one try each, on GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst:
- Ball gown (from a photo): tiara, gloves, embroidery and ballroom as asked; the face is a close match, and the hair came back longer and curlier than in the full-length source photo.
- Ice princess (from a photo): face and smile kept almost exactly, ice crown and snowflake cape right — but closer to a photo than a painting.
- Warrior princess (from text): crown braid, circlet, armour, sword and cliffside castle all present.
- Elven princess (from text): ears, leaf circlet, gown and moonlit tree palace as described.
