Strengths and limits
Good at
- Up to 20 seconds in one generation — longer than the 15-second cap on Seedance 2.0 or Wan 2.7.
- Sound in the same render: dialogue, effects and ambience timed to what happens on screen, at no extra cost on Kenerate.
- Seven aspect ratios from 9:16 vertical to 21:9 cinema, including 2:1.
- Simple per-second price: 42.5 credits at 720p, so a full 20-second 720p clip is 850 credits.
Limits
- No real FLUX 3 Video clips on this page yet — we only show a model's own outputs, so run a short 5-second test first.
- Not on Kenerate's free plan: video needs any one-time credit pack (from $15 for 1,300 credits).
- One start image only on Kenerate — no multi-image references, keyframes or video-to-video here yet.
- No open weights yet: Black Forest Labs says faster and open-weight versions come later in 2026, so there is no ComfyUI or local workflow today.

FLUX 3 Video questions
10 questions
What is FLUX 3 Video?
FLUX 3 Video is Black Forest Labs' first public video generation model, part of the FLUX 3 family announced on 23 July 2026. It makes clips of up to 20 seconds with synchronized sound — dialogue, sound effects and ambience — from text, images, keyframes or an existing clip. On Kenerate you can run text to video and image to video.
Link to this answerWhen was FLUX 3 Video released?
Black Forest Labs announced FLUX 3 on 23 July 2026, with FLUX 3 Video and FLUX 3 Action in early access. General API access opened on 4 August 2026. It is available on Kenerate now, with no waitlist.
Link to this answerHow much does FLUX 3 Video cost on Kenerate?
It's billed per second: 42.5 credits a second at 720p and 72.5 at 1080p, rounded up per clip. A 5-second clip costs 213 credits at 720p or 363 at 1080p; a 20-second clip costs 850 or 1,450. Sound on or off costs the same. Credits come in one-time packs from $15 for 1,300.
Link to this answerIs FLUX 3 Video free?
Not on Kenerate's free plan — video needs any one-time credit pack, with no subscription. The cheapest FLUX 3 Video clip is 5 seconds at 720p for 213 credits.
Link to this answerIs FLUX 3 Video open source?
Not yet. Black Forest Labs has said faster and open-weight versions of FLUX 3 are planned for later in 2026, and the family includes a FLUX 3 Dev variant, but as of 20 October 2026 the video model runs only through APIs and hosted apps.
Link to this answerCan I use FLUX 3 Video in ComfyUI?
Not locally — there are no downloadable weights to load yet. API-based ComfyUI nodes may call it, but the simplest way to try it today is in the browser on Kenerate or another hosted platform.
Link to this answerHow long can FLUX 3 Video clips be?
5 to 20 seconds per clip, in whole seconds. That's longer than most models' 10–15 second limit; for up to 30 seconds per clip, Seedance 2.5 and Wan 3 go further.
Link to this answerWhat resolution and aspect ratios does FLUX 3 Video support?
On Kenerate you can pick 720p or 1080p, in 9:16, 21:9, 2:1, 16:9, 4:3, 1:1 or 3:4. Reports at launch described HD output with Full HD by upscaling, so test at 720p and move to 1080p for the keeper.
Link to this answerDoes FLUX 3 Video make sound?
Yes. It generates audio together with the picture — dialogue in several languages, effects and ambient sound synced to on-screen events. On Kenerate sound is a toggle and the price is the same with it on or off.
Link to this answerFLUX 3 Video vs Seedance 2.0 — which should I use?
FLUX 3 Video makes longer clips (up to 20 s) from text or one start image and is cheaper per second at 720p (42.5 vs 72 credits). Seedance 2.0 takes up to 9 images, 3 clips and 3 audio files as references and goes up to 4K, so it's the better pick when you need tight control over a character or a camera move.

What FLUX 3 Video costs per clip
Kenerate bills FLUX 3 Video per second of output and rounds up per clip. Sound is included in every price below.
- 5 seconds — 213 credits at 720p, 363 at 1080p.
- 10 seconds — 425 credits at 720p, 725 at 1080p.
- 20 seconds — 850 credits at 720p, 1,450 at 1080p.
Prompting FLUX 3 Video
Black Forest Labs describes FLUX 3 Video as strong on facial expressions and on tying sound to physical events [1]. Use that: describe what the character feels, put dialogue in quotes with the language, and name the sounds you expect — a door slam, rain on glass, a crowd. Early reviewers found it better on dialogue and dramatic scenes than on fast action [3], so for kinetic sports or chase shots compare it with Seedance. Keep the first test at 5 seconds and 720p, then extend the length once the shot works.
Open weights, FLUX 3 Dev and the rest of the family
FLUX 3 is one architecture trained on images, video, audio and robot actions, shipped as FLUX 3 Video, FLUX 3 Image, FLUX 3 Action and FLUX 3 Dev [1]. Black Forest Labs says faster and open-weight versions will follow later in 2026 [1]; until they do, there's nothing to download for local or ComfyUI use. Kenerate runs the hosted model alongside FLUX.2 for images, Seedance, Kling and Wan on one credit balance. Don't use real people's likenesses or copyrighted characters without permission.
