Strengths and limits
Good at
- Sound in the same render: Kling 2.6 Pro writes voice-over, effects and ambience to match the action, so there's no separate audio pass.
- The cheapest Kling on Kenerate: Standard is 12.6 credits a second (63 for 5 s), Pro silent is 21 — both below every Kling 3.0 tier.
- Start and end frames on Pro: give it the first and last image and it fills the motion in between.
- Simple choices — 5 or 10 seconds, 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1 — which makes it a quick, predictable draft model.
Limits
- No real Kling 2.6 clips on this page yet — we only show a model's own outputs, so run a 5-second Standard test first (63 credits).
- Voice output is English and Chinese only; Kling translates other languages to English. For Japanese, Korean or Spanish dialogue use Kling 3.0.
- Kling 2.6 Pro can't make sound with an end frame — that run is sent and billed silent. Standard on Kenerate is always silent and start-frame only.
- Not on Kenerate's free plan: video needs any one-time credit pack (from $15 for 1,300 credits). Clips stop at 10 seconds.
How to
How to use Kling 2.6 on Kenerate

Open the video studio
Go to /app/video and pick Kling v2.6 Pro (the button on this page selects it) or Kling v2.6 Standard. Video needs any one-time credit pack.
Step 2
Add a start frame (optional)
Upload the image the clip should start from. On Pro you can add an end frame too — but then the clip is silent. Leave it empty for text to video.
Step 3
Describe the shot and the sound
Write subject, action and camera move; for image to video a motion prompt is required. Name the sounds you want and put spoken lines in quotes, in English or Chinese.
Step 4

What is Kling 2.6?
Kling 2.6, officially Kling VIDEO 2.6, is Kuaishou's AI video model released in December 2025. It was the first Kling model to generate audio and video together — voice-over, sound effects and ambience in one pass — and makes 5 or 10 second clips from a text prompt or a start image. On API platforms it appears as kwaivgi/kling-v2.6-pro and kwaivgi/kling-v2.6-std.
Link to this answerWhat's the difference between Kling 2.6 Pro and Standard?
On Kenerate, Kling 2.6 Pro has the sound toggle and takes a start and an end frame, for 21 credits a second silent or 42 with sound. Kling 2.6 Standard is silent, takes a start frame only and costs 12.6 credits a second. Both make 5 or 10 second clips in 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1 from text or an image.
Link to this answerHow much does Kling 2.6 cost on Kenerate?
It's billed per second. A 5-second clip costs 63 credits on Standard, 105 on Pro silent and 210 on Pro with sound; a 10-second clip costs 126, 210 and 420. Credits come in one-time packs that never expire, starting at $15 for 1,300 credits, with no subscription.
Link to this answerDoes Kling 2.6 make sound?
Yes — native audio is the headline feature. Kling's guide says VIDEO 2.6 generates voice-over, sound effects and ambient sound that line up with the action, with voice output in Chinese and English (other languages are translated to English). On Kenerate, sound is a toggle on Kling 2.6 Pro; Standard renders silent.
Link to this answerWhat languages does Kling 2.6 speak?
English and Chinese. Kling's 2.6 guide states the model currently supports Chinese and English voice output and auto-translates other languages to English. If you need dialogue in Japanese, Korean or Spanish, Kling 3.0 adds those.
Link to this answerHow long can Kling 2.6 videos be?
5 or 10 seconds per clip — nothing in between. Kling recommends 10 seconds for dialogue and singing so lines aren't rushed. For longer pieces, generate several clips, start each from the last frame of the one before, and join them in an editor.
Link to this answerIs Kling 2.6 free?
Not on Kenerate's free plan: video generation needs a paid plan, which means buying any one-time credit pack. New accounts get 25 starter credits for images. Kling's own app has its own free allowance and paid tiers; check kling.ai for its current terms.
Link to this answerCan Kling 2.6 animate an image?
Yes. Upload a start image in /app/video and Kling 2.6 animates it — a short motion prompt is required. Kling 2.6 Pro also accepts an end image and moves from the first frame to the last, but with an end frame the clip comes out silent. Image to video is the surest way to keep a product or character exactly as designed.
Link to this answerWhat is kwaivgi/kling-v2.6-pro?
It's the API name for Kling 2.6 Pro on model platforms such as WaveSpeed — kwaivgi is Kuaishou's Kling namespace, -std is the Standard tier, and there are separate text-to-video and image-to-video endpoints. On Kenerate you don't need an API key: the same model runs in the browser as Kling v2.6 Pro.
Link to this answerKling 2.6 vs Kling 3.0 — which should I use?
Kling 3.0 makes 3–15 second clips, adds dialogue in Japanese, Korean and Spanish and has a 4K tier, but costs more: 25.2–33.6 credits a second silent on Kenerate. Kling 2.6 is the cheaper choice for 5 or 10 second clips in English or Chinese — 12.6 a second on Standard, 21 on Pro silent.

Kling 2.6 price per clip
Both tiers make 5 or 10 second clips [2][3]. Prices below are on Kenerate, in credits.
- Standard (silent) — 63 for 5 s, 126 for 10 s. Drafts, b-roll, testing a prompt.
- Pro, sound off — 105 for 5 s, 210 for 10 s. Pro quality for silent shots, or with an end frame.
- Pro, sound on — 210 for 5 s, 420 for 10 s. Dialogue, effects and ambience in the clip.
Prompting Kling 2.6 for sound
Kling 2.6 builds the soundtrack from your prompt [1]. Name the sounds (rain, traffic, a crowd, footsteps), put dialogue in quotes, say who speaks and keep it in English or Chinese. Kling's guide recommends 10-second clips for dialogue and singing, and warns that quality can drop with three or more characters in a scene — keep it to one or two speakers. Turn sound off for b-roll: it halves the Pro price.
What Kenerate runs vs Kling's own app
Kenerate runs kwaivgi/kling-v2.6-pro and -std for text to video and image to video, one clip per run, with an end frame on Pro. Kling's own app adds Voice Control — custom voices from a 5–30 second sample — and batches of up to four clips [1]. If you need custom voices, use Kling's app; if you want Kling 2.6 next to Kling 3.0, Seedance, Veo and Wan on one credit balance, use Kenerate.
